Originally Founded in 1978
Window Film Systems started as many small businesses do, out of a basement. Joe Norris founded the company way back in 1978. Joe grew his company steadily over the next few years. He had his trusty window film installer, Ray, but demand for quotes was becoming more than Joe could handle himself.
That’s where the current owner Peter Yates comes in. Peter learned everything from his trusted mentor. This included values Window Film Systems still holds very dear to its operations. These are the principles that have allowed Window Film Systems to grow and thrive.
Many of the local London customers know Window Film Systems as a solar control film installer yet there is so much more involved in what the company does. That’s the roots of the business but now it includes standard stock and custom printed decorative films for home and office, custom print wall product, security film, and even resurfacing products to update hard surfaces.
There have been many changes over the years. The company has come a long way from Joe’s basement. Peter moved the company into its own facility in Hyde Park twenty years ago so that there would be lots of room to grow. Window Film Systems stands at the ready to see what the future brings and looks forward to serving its customers with the same dedication that has allowed 45 years of success.
